Challenge

Booking a doctor’s appointment was administrative, slow, and anxiety-inducing.

With over 200 service providers, the legacy booking system was a bottleneck. Patients struggled to find availability, leading to high call center volumes and frustrated users.

Solution

I designed a self-service portal that functions as a digital waiting room.

By prioritizing "next available time" and simplifying medical categories into natural language, we reduced the booking flow to three intuitive steps, removing the need for login until the final confirmation.

Reduced patient anxiety and administrative overhead.

The new self-service environment empowers patients to manage their own health journey, significantly reducing support tickets and increasing successful digital bookings.
